FAQ

Questions families ask about our services

What services does GAPP cover?

GAPP covers medically necessary in-home skilled nursing and personal care support for medically fragile children under 21 in Georgia.

Approved GAPP services are paid by Georgia Medicaid. Families pay nothing out of pocket for those hours.

Skilled nursing needs a licensed nurse: medications, equipment, assessments and clinical decisions. Personal care support is help with daily living, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, positioning and mobility, provided by trained caregivers. Many GAPP children receive both.

The state’s medical review can take up to 30 days after a complete packet is submitted. Having your physician’s paperwork ready speeds things up, and we help gather it.

Yes. Georgia lets families change GAPP agencies without penalty.

Our office is in College Park and most families we serve live in Metro Atlanta. Call us for areas outside the metro.

Your child deserves expert care at home. You deserve a break.

Find out in one short call whether your child qualifies for pediatric home care through GAPP. No cost, no obligation.
